The Topaz signature pads need an updated SSL certificate to function. This is a one-time install. Each computer that uses the signature pad will need to follow these steps:
- Make sure the signature pad is plugged into the computer
- Select the link http://www.topazsystems.com/software/sigweb_update_Cert21.exe
- If the computer asks to “Run” or “Save”, select “Run” (Internet Explorer)
- If the computer downloads the program, select the program on the bottom left to run (Chrome)
- Select “Yes” to allow the program to install
This should allow the signature pad to work. To test:
- Open any job in DOCUTRACK
- Select “View” for a job from the Open Jobs page (Main dashboard)
- Select the “Customer Forms” tab
- Select “Fill/Sign” for one of the forms
- Select “Sign Electronically” in the top right
- Select the gray “Sign” box
- Sign on the signature pad
- You should see the signature show on the screen
