Topaz Signature Pad UPDATE

The Topaz signature pads need an updated SSL certificate to function.  This is a one-time install.  Each computer that uses the signature pad will need to follow these steps:

 

  • Make sure the signature pad is plugged into the computer
  • Select the link http://www.topazsystems.com/software/sigweb_update_Cert21.exe
  • If the computer asks to “Run” or “Save”, select “Run” (Internet Explorer)
  • If the computer downloads the program, select the program on the bottom left to run (Chrome)
  • Select “Yes” to allow the program to install

 

This should allow the signature pad to work.  To test:

  • Open any job in DOCUTRACK
  • Select “View” for a job from the Open Jobs page (Main dashboard)
  • Select the “Customer Forms” tab
  • Select “Fill/Sign” for one of the forms
  • Select “Sign Electronically” in the top right
  • Select the gray “Sign” box
  • Sign on the signature pad
  • You should see the signature show on the screen
